Public Bus
From the central area of Masaya, head to the main bus terminal located at Parque Central. Look for buses heading to Granada, which are frequent and have a sign indicating their destination. Once you board, pay the bus fare (approximately 30-50 Cordobas). The ride will take roughly 30-45 minutes. You will arrive at the Granada bus terminal. Upon disembarking, exit the terminal and walk towards the main road.
Walking
After exiting the Granada bus terminal, head left down Calle La Calzada. Follow this street for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Avenida 1ra. Turn right onto Avenida 1ra and continue walking straight for another 10 minutes. You will pass several restaurants and shops. Keep walking until you reach the waterfront area; this is the Granada Malecon, a beautiful promenade along Lake Nicaragua.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route after arriving at the Granada bus terminal, you can take a taxi. Look for the designated taxi area just outside the terminal. Tell the driver you want to go to the Granada Malecon. The fare should be around 50-100 Cordobas, and the ride will take approximately 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic.
Use Granada Malecon as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
