Getting There

  • Car

    From Mombacho Volcano, head northeast on the road leading away from the volcano entrance. Continue straight for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the town of Granada. In Granada, follow the signs for Lake Cocibolca. Turn left onto Calle La Calzada and continue until you reach the waterfront. Marina Cocibolca is located along the lake's edge. Look for signs indicating the marina. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared to pay a small fee.

    To reach Marina Cocibolca via public transportation, first take a bus from Mombacho Volcano to Granada. Buses leave regularly from the main road near the entrance of the volcano. Once in Granada, disembark at the main bus terminal. From there, you can either walk to the waterfront, which is approximately 1.5 kilometers, or take a local taxi for a small fare. Upon reaching the waterfront, follow the signs to Marina Cocibolca, which is located on the lakeshore.
