From Awhum Waterfall, head southwest on the road towards the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway (AH1). Follow the signs for the expressway and merge onto it. Continue on the expressway for approximately 30 kilometers. Take the exit towards Gawu-Kafin-Adunu-Beni Rd. Turn left onto Gawu-Kafin-Adunu-Beni Rd and drive for about 10 kilometers until you reach Gurara Waterfalls, located at the coordinates 9.314765999999999, 7.020080399999999. Be prepared for a small parking fee upon arrival.
Public Transportation
From Awhum Waterfall, you can take a local bus or shared taxi to Minna. Once in Minna, find a bus heading to Gurara, which may require asking locals for directions to the bus station as it can vary. The fare is usually around 500-1000 NGN. After arriving at Gurara, you may need to take a motorcycle taxi (okada) to cover the remaining distance to the waterfalls. Expect to pay around 200-300 NGN for the motorcycle ride.
