Car
From Awhum Waterfall, head northwest on the Awhum Road. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with the Gawu-Kafin-Adunu-Beni Road. Turn left onto Gawu-Kafin-Adunu-Beni Road. Drive straight for approximately 20 kilometers. You will see signs for Gurara Waterfalls as you approach Bonu. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the parking area near the falls. Be prepared for a small parking fee, usually around 200 Naira.

Public Transportation
Start by taking a local bus or taxi from Awhum Waterfall to Minna. Once in Minna, look for a bus or shared taxi heading towards Bonu. The journey to Bonu will take about 1-1.5 hours. Upon arrival in Bonu, you can either walk or hire a local motorcycle taxi (popularly called 'okada') to take you to the Gurara Waterfalls. The motorcycle taxi ride may cost around 300-500 Naira. Make sure to ask the driver to take you directly to the falls.

If you are near the Bonu area after taking public transportation, you can walk to Gurara Waterfalls from the center of Bonu. It's approximately a 3-kilometer walk. Head southeast on Gawu-Kafin-Adunu-Beni Road, following the signs for Gurara Waterfalls. The walk will take about 30-40 minutes, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way.
