Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Benin City Central Market, exit the market and head south towards Akpakpava Road. Continue straight on Akpakpava Road until you reach the junction with Ring Road. Turn left onto Ring Road and walk for approximately 1 kilometer. You will see the National Museum Benin City on your left, just past Kings Square.

    From the Oba Market, exit the market and walk towards Ikpoba Hill Road. Follow Ikpoba Hill Road until you reach the junction with Ring Road. Turn right onto Ring Road and continue walking for about 800 meters. The National Museum Benin City will be on your right side, just after Kings Square.

    If you are near the University of Benin, exit the campus and head towards Ugbowo-Lagos Road. Turn left onto Ugbowo-Lagos Road and follow it until you reach the roundabout.
