Start from Calabar city center and head east towards the Calabar River. Follow the river until you reach the junction with the Ugep Road. Turn left onto Ugep Road and continue cycling for about 25 kilometers. You will pass through several small towns and rural areas. Look for signs pointing to the Oban Sector of Cross River National Park. The entrance will be marked, and you may need to pay an entrance fee.

From Calabar, head to the main bus station and look for buses heading towards Ikom or Ugep. Board the bus and inform the driver that you are going to Cross River National Park Oban Sector. The journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive near the park entrance, you may need to walk or find a motorcycle taxi (okada) to take you the remaining distance to the park entrance.

If you are already in Calabar, find a motorcycle taxi (okada) at a local transportation hub or on the street. Negotiate the fare to take you directly to Cross River National Park Oban Sector. Make sure to specify that you want to go to the park entrance, which is located near the Oban River. The ride will take about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic.

If you are feeling adventurous and are already close to the park entrance, you can walk from your current location in Calabar. Head towards the Ugep Road, following local signs to the park. This option is only recommended if you are familiar with the area and it's safe to walk, as it could take several hours depending on your starting point.
