Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the Calabar city center, start at the Calabar Marina. Head south toward the Calabar River and continue walking along the riverfront until you reach the intersection with Duke Town Road. Turn right onto Duke Town Road and follow it for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several local shops and eateries. Keep an eye out for street signs indicating the direction to U.J Esuene Stadium. Once you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Naval Base, turn left and continue walking. The stadium will be on your right after approximately 500 meters.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in the city center. Start at the Calabar Marina and cycle south along the riverfront. After about 1 kilometer, turn right onto Duke Town Road. Continue cycling for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Naval Base. Turn left and cycle for another 500 meters, where you will see U.J Esuene Stadium on your right.

• Public Transport (Motorcycle Taxi)

  From any location in Calabar, look for a motorcycle taxi (locally known as 'Okada'). Tell the rider you want to go to U.J Esuene Stadium located at Naval Base. The rider will take you directly to the stadium. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  Find a local bus heading towards Naval Base. Buses can be found at various bus stops around the city center. Once you board the bus, inform the driver or conductor that you want to get off at U.J Esuene Stadium. The bus will drop you off near the stadium entrance. Be sure to keep an eye on the landmarks so you know when to get off.
