From Gashaka Gumti National Park, head south on the main road towards Jalingo. After approximately 3 hours of driving (about 150 km), you will reach Jalingo. From Jalingo, take the route towards Wukari. This should take about 1 hour (approximately 50 km). Once you reach Wukari, continue west on the A4 highway towards Makurdi. After about 1.5 hours (around 85 km), you will arrive in Makurdi. From Makurdi, take the A3 highway towards Ibadan. Follow this route for about 2.5 hours (approximately 160 km) until you see signs for Old Oyo National Park. The park is located near Bayo, and you will need to follow local signs or a GPS navigation system to reach the exact location at coordinates 8.3780577, 3.8248241.
Public Transportation

To travel from Gashaka Gumti National Park to Old Oyo National Park using public transport, first, you will need to take a taxi or hired car from Gashaka Gumti to Jalingo (approximately 3 hours, around 150 km).
