Walk along the expressway for about 15 minutes until you reach the junction where you can see the sign for the Oyo State Secretariat. Turn left and continue walking straight for another 10 minutes, passing by the Oyo State Secretariat on your right. The Mellanby Water Fount is a short distance ahead on your left, located at the coordinates CVWX+7XJ.

Rent a bicycle from a local rental shop in Ibadan. Begin at the Cocoa House, a prominent building in the city. Ride south towards the University of Ibadan. Once you reach the university, follow the same path as pedestrians: exit the university and head southeast to the Ibadan-Ijebu Ode Road. Cycle along the expressway for about 15 minutes, then turn left at the junction for the Oyo State Secretariat. Continue cycling straight for another 10 minutes until you see Mellanby Water Fount on your left.
