Walking
If you are in the heart of Ibadan, start at the popular Dugbe Market area. Head southwest towards Oritamefa Baptist Church. From the church, continue walking to the intersection with Ring Road. Turn right and walk along Ring Road until you reach Bodija Market. From Bodija Market, take the road leading to the University of Ibadan. Follow the signs to University of Ibadan, and keep walking straight until you see the entrance to the university. The Zoological Garden is located within the university grounds, so enter through the main gate and ask for directions to the zoo.

To reach the University of Ibadan Zoological Garden using public transport, you can take a bus or shared taxi from major bus stations in Ibadan such as Challenge or Dugbe. Look for buses heading towards University of Ibadan or Ibadan Polytechnic. Inform the driver you are going to the University of Ibadan. They will drop you off close to the university entrance. From there, walk into the university grounds and follow the signs to the Zoological Garden.
