Car
From IITA Forest Reserve, head northwest on the road leading out of the reserve. After approximately 3.5 km, turn left onto the road that leads to Appleton Road. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Appleton Road. Turn right onto Appleton Road, and the University of Ibadan Zoological Garden will be on your left after about 500 meters. Look for the sign indicating the zoo entrance.

Public Transportation
From IITA Forest Reserve, walk to the nearest bus stop where you can catch a local bus heading towards Ibadan. Board a bus that specifically goes to the University of Ibadan area. The fare is usually around 200 NGN. Once you arrive at the University of Ibadan, ask the driver or locals for directions to the Zoological Garden, which is situated within the university grounds. It’s approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus drop-off point.

You can hire a taxi from within IITA Forest Reserve directly to the University of Ibadan Zoological Garden.
