Getting there

Car

From the main entrance of Owu Forest Reserve, take the road heading northeast towards Borno. Continue driving for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction near Bitta. At the junction, take a left turn and proceed for another 5 kilometers. You will see signs directing you to GFYS, which is located in Bitta. Follow these signs until you arrive at the specific location at coordinates 11.2502909 latitude and 13.4167449 longitude.

Public Transportation

From Owu Forest Reserve, you can take a shared taxi or a bus heading towards Borno. These are commonly available at the main exit of the reserve. The fare should be around 500 Naira. Inform the driver you are going to Bitta. Once you reach Bitta, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach GFYS. Look for local signs or ask locals for directions to the exact location at 11.2502909 latitude and 13.4167449 longitude.

Walking

If you are already in Bitta, you can walk to GFYS from the center of the town. Head northeast on the main road for about 1 kilometer, and when you see the local market, take a right turn. Continue straight for another 500 meters, and you will find GFYS on your left, marked at coordinates 11.2502909 latitude and 13.4167449 longitude.
