Getting There

  • Car

    From Kurra Falls, head northwest on the main road leading out of the park. Follow the road for about 15 kilometers until you reach the junction with the A123 highway. Turn left onto the A123 highway and continue for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for signs indicating 'Riyom' and take the exit towards Riyom. Drive for another 5 kilometers until you reach the village of Hwoll. Riyom Rock is located just a short distance from the village center. You may need to ask locals for specific directions to the rock, as it is a known landmark.

  • Public Transportation

    From Kurra Falls, find a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Jos. These can typically be found near the entrance of the park. Board the bus and tell the driver you want to go to Riyom. The fare is usually around 100-200 NGN. The trip will take roughly 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive in Jos, you may need to take a motorcycle taxi (okada) or another shared taxi to reach Riyom Rock. The motorcycle taxi should cost about 200-300 NGN and will take around 15 minutes to get you close to the rock.
