    Getting There

    Car

    From Nupe, head southeast towards the Ajao Estate Road and continue to follow the road signs to connect to the A2 highway. Maintain your route on the A2 highway for approximately 90 kilometers. Once you reach the border, proceed through the customs and immigration checks, as you will be entering Benin. After crossing the border, continue on the N1 highway towards Cotonou. After about 50 kilometers, take the exit towards Kofouno. Follow the local roads to reach W National Park. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition for the journey, and be aware that there may be tolls on the highways.

    Public Transportation

    To travel by public transportation from Nupe to W National Park, first take a shared taxi or bus to the nearest bus terminal heading to Cotonou. This journey may take around 2-3 hours, and you should expect to pay a fare of approximately 1,500 NGN. Upon reaching Cotonou, you can catch another shared taxi that goes to Kofouno. This part of the journey will take roughly 1-2 hours and will cost around 2,000 XOF. Once you reach Kofouno, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you directly to W National Park, which is about 15 kilometers away.
