From Owu Forest Reserve, head towards the main road leading to the town of Ogbomoso. Follow the signs for 'Abeokuta' and 'Akure'. After approximately 30 minutes of driving, keep an eye out for a sign directing you to 'Idanre'. Turn onto that road and continue driving for another 20-25 minutes until you reach the entrance of Idanre Forest Reserve, which is located in Ofosu, Ondo State.

From Owu Forest Reserve, find a local bus station or a taxi that can take you to Ogbomoso. Once in Ogbomoso, look for a bus heading towards Akure. Inform the driver that you want to stop at the Idanre junction. It’s a common destination, so they should know where to drop you off. After getting off, you might need to take a motorcycle taxi (okada) for the final stretch to Idanre Forest Reserve, which will cost you a small fare (around 200-500 Naira).
