Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from the Norfolk Island Airport, exit the terminal and follow the signs to Queen Elizabeth Avenue. Head south on Queen Elizabeth Avenue until you reach the intersection with Taylors Road. Turn left onto Taylors Road and continue straight until you reach the end of the road. At the end, you'll find a path leading into the Rocky Point Reserve. Follow the path through the reserve which will lead you directly to Rocky Point. The total walking distance is approximately 4 kilometers and should take around 50 minutes.

  • Bicycle

    If you are renting a bicycle, start from the Norfolk Island Airport and cycle towards Queen Elizabeth Avenue. Turn left and head south. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto Taylors Road. Continue cycling straight for approximately 2 kilometers until you reach the end of the road. Look for the entrance to Rocky Point Reserve on your right. The biking route covers around 4 kilometers in total, which will take about 15-20 minutes depending on your cycling speed.

  • Public Transport

    From the Norfolk Island Airport, take the local bus service towards Burnt Pine. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Taylors Road. Once you get off the bus, walk along Taylors Road until you reach the entrance to Rocky Point Reserve. The bus ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes, and the walk from the bus stop to Rocky Point will take another 10-15 minutes.
