If you are travelling by car, start from the main settlement area of Nepean Island, known as Kingston. Head east on the main road, following signs towards the Norfolk Island National Park. Continue on this road for about 3 kilometers until you reach the junction at the entrance of the park. Turn left onto the access road leading into the park. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will see a small parking area on your right. Park your car here, as Headstone Point is a short walking distance from this point.

For those using public transportation, check the local bus schedule for routes servicing Kingston and the Norfolk Island National Park. Buses typically run several times a day from the main tourist areas. Disembark at the closest stop near the park entrance, which is about 3 kilometers from Kingston. From there, you can walk to Headstone Point by following the access road into the park. It is advisable to wear comfortable walking shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
