Getting There

• Car

  To reach East End Point by car from anywhere in Rocky Point, start by heading southeast on the main road (Bounty Road). Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the junction with East End Road. Turn left onto East End Road and continue driving for about 3 kilometers. You will see signs for East End Point as you approach the area. There is a parking area available near the point for visitors.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transport, check the local bus schedule for routes heading towards East End Point. The nearest bus stop is located on Bounty Road, which services several routes. You will need to board a bus that travels towards the east side of the island. The fare is usually around $5 AUD per person. Once you reach the stop near East End Road (confirm with the driver), you will need to walk about 1 kilometer along East End Road to reach East End Point. There are no dedicated sidewalks, so please be cautious while walking.

• Bicycle

  For the adventurous, renting a bicycle is a great way to see the island and reach East End Point. There are several rental shops in Rocky Point. After renting your bike, head southeast on Bounty Road, then turn left onto East End Road. The total distance from the center of Rocky Point to East End Point is about 8 kilometers, so be prepared for a moderate ride. Ensure you wear a helmet and follow road safety rules.

• Walking

  If you are feeling energetic and wish to walk to East End Point, start from the center of Rocky Point and follow Bounty Road towards the southeast. It is approximately a 5-kilometer walk to the junction with East End Road. Turn left onto East End Road and continue walking for another 3 kilometers until you reach East End Point. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as there are no facilities along the way.
