Car
If you're driving from the center of Slaughter Bay, head east on Queen Elizabeth Avenue. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers, passing the Norfolk Island Golf Club on your left. You will reach a T-junction; turn left onto Stockyard Road. Follow Stockyard Road for another kilometer, and then take a right onto Headstone Road. Drive until you reach the end of the road, where you will find a parking area near Headstone Point. The last stretch involves a short walk to the point.
Public Transportation
To reach Headstone Point via public transport, catch a bus from the Slaughter Bay bus stop. Buses typically run every hour. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Norfolk Island Golf Club stop. From there, it's a 20-minute walk along Queen Elizabeth Avenue and Stockyard Road to the T-junction. Turn right onto Headstone Road and continue to the end. The bus fare is usually around AUD 5, and you'll need exact change.
Walking
For those who prefer to walk from the center of Slaughter Bay, start at the main beach area and head east along the coastal path. Follow the path until you reach Queen Elizabeth Avenue. Cross the road and continue walking east until you reach Stockyard Road. Turn right and continue for about 1 kilometer. Finally, turn right onto Headstone Road and walk to the end. This journey will take approximately 1 hour, depending on your pace.
