Car
From St. Barnabas Chapel, head southeast on Quality Row toward The Crank. Turn left onto The Crank and follow it until you reach the intersection with Queen Elizabeth Avenue. Turn right onto Queen Elizabeth Avenue and continue until you reach the junction with Mission Road. Turn left onto Mission Road and follow it past the local shops and into the more rural area. After about 10 minutes, you will see signs for Nepean Island. Continue to follow the signs, which will lead you onto a small road that will take you to the ferry terminal for Nepean Island. Parking may be available near the terminal, but check for any fees. Take the ferry to Nepean Island, which may have a cost associated with it. Once you arrive on Nepean Island, follow the marked paths to reach Ethan Mountain.
Public Transportation
Begin at St. Barnabas Chapel and make your way to the nearest bus stop on Queen Elizabeth Avenue. Board a bus that heads towards the ferry terminal for Nepean Island. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance, as frequencies may vary. Upon arrival at the ferry terminal, purchase a ticket for the ferry to Nepean Island. After the ferry ride, disembark and follow the designated hiking paths to Ethan Mountain. Be aware of the ferry costs as they can vary based on the season and time of day.
