Car
From Steels Point, head south on Steels Point Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with The Cascade Road. Turn right onto The Cascade Road and drive for another 2 kilometers. You will then see a sign for Headstone Point. Turn left onto Headstone Point Road, which will take you directly to the parking area near the point. The drive should take approximately 10 minutes.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, catch the local bus from Steels Point towards the Norfolk Island Centre. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at The Cascade Road stop. From there, it is a 15-minute walk to Headstone Point. Walk along The Cascade Road until you reach the junction with Steels Point Road, then turn right and follow the road until you see the signage for Headstone Point. This journey may take around 30-40 minutes including the bus ride.
Walking
For those who prefer walking, if you are already in Steels Point, you can walk directly to Headstone Point. Start by heading south on Steels Point Road. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn right onto The Cascade Road. Continue on this road for about 2 kilometers. At the junction, turn left onto Headstone Point Road. Follow this road until you reach the point. Expect the walk to take about an hour, depending on your walking speed.
