    Walking

    If you are starting from the Asheville Downtown area, head northwest on Patton Avenue toward College Street. Continue on Patton Avenue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Riverside Drive. Turn left onto Riverside Drive and follow it for about 0.3 miles. You will see the French Broad River on your right. There are several access points along the riverbank where you can enjoy the scenic views.

    Public Transport (Bus)

    From the Asheville Visitor Center, take the ART (Asheville Rides Transit) bus. Board the bus on the corner of College Street and Biltmore Avenue. Take the bus route that goes towards the River Arts District. Get off at the 'River Arts District' stop. From there, walk down the road towards the river, which should be visible. Follow the paths along the riverbank to reach the French Broad River.
