From downtown Asheville, head to the nearest bus stop at the Asheville Transit Center located at 49 Coxe Ave. Take the ART (Asheville Redefines Transit) bus route 170 towards the Blue Ridge Parkway. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at the Pisgah National Forest entrance. From there, it is a short 1.5-mile walk along Pisgah Highway to Looking Glass Falls.

You can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in downtown Asheville. Head southwest on Biltmore Ave, then take a left onto I-240 W. Follow the bike path until you reach Hwy 280. Continue on Hwy 280 towards Brevard, then turn right onto Pisgah Hwy. Follow Pisgah Hwy for about 5 miles until you reach Looking Glass Falls.

If you are in the Brevard area, you can walk to Looking Glass Falls from the downtown area. Start on Main St and head southwest towards N Broad St. Continue onto US-276 N, which turns into Pisgah Hwy. It is approximately a 4-mile walk, so be prepared with water and comfortable shoes!
