    From downtown Asheville, head south on S. Market St. towards E. College St. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Biltmore Ave. Turn left onto Biltmore Ave. and walk for approximately 0.5 miles. After crossing the river, take a right onto Hilliard Ave. Continue walking on Hilliard Ave until it turns into River Arts Place. The River Arts District will be on your left, at 3 River Arts Pl.

    Catch the ART (Asheville Redefines Transit) bus route number 1 or 2 from a nearby stop in downtown Asheville. The ride to the River Arts District takes about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop nearest to the River Arts District. Once you get off, walk down Hilliard Ave, which will lead you directly into the River Arts District. Look for 3 River Arts Pl on your left.

  • Bicycling

    If you have access to a bike, head towards the River Arts District from downtown Asheville by following the greenway path along the river. Start at the Asheville Riverfront Greenway at the end of Amboy Rd. Follow the path along the river, and it will lead you to the River Arts District. The destination will be at 3 River Arts Pl. This is a scenic route and takes about 10-15 minutes.
