From the center of Biltmore Village, head southeast on Lodge Street. Continue straight until you reach the entrance of Biltmore Estate at 1 Lodge Street. The estate is approximately a 15-minute walk (about 0.7 miles). Look for the large brick entrance and the iconic gatehouse as you approach.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Biltmore Village. After renting, head southeast on Lodge Street, keeping an eye out for traffic and pedestrians. The estate is about a 5-minute bike ride (0.7 miles). Just be sure to return the bike before the rental shop closes.

You can take the ART (Asheville Redefines Transit) bus for a more relaxed journey. Board the ART bus at the nearest stop in Biltmore Village. You will want to take Route 1 towards Biltmore Estate. The ride takes approximately 10 minutes, and you will need to pay a fare of $1.00 (exact change required). Get off at the Biltmore Estate stop, and it’s just a short walk to the entrance.
