    Getting There

    Public Bus

    Start at the Boone Town Hall. Take the AppalCART bus (Route 2) towards Blowing Rock. The bus will take you along Highway 321 and drop you off at the Blowing Rock park and ride area. From there, transfer to the AppalCART Blowing Rock route (Route 1) that will take you closer to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Get off at the stop closest to the entrance of the Blue Ridge Parkway. From the bus stop, walk approximately 0.5 miles down the parkway until you see the entrance sign for Moses Cone Manor.

    Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Boone. Start from downtown Boone and head south on King Street. Continue onto Highway 321 South. Follow the road for about 5 miles until you reach the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Once on the Parkway, bike for approximately 2 miles until you see the sign for Moses Cone Manor. There is a parking area where you can secure your bike and then walk to the Manor.

    Begin at the Boone Town Square. Head south on King Street until you reach the intersection with Highway 321. Cross the highway and continue walking along the sidewalk until you reach the entrance of the Blue Ridge Parkway, which is about 3 miles away. Once on the Parkway, continue walking for about 1.5 miles. Look for the sign for Moses Cone Manor; it will be on your left. Be sure to follow the pedestrian path for safety.
