Start at the Boone Town Park located at 621 Greenway Rd, Boone, NC 28607. Head south on Greenway Rd for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Blowing Rock Rd (US-321). Cross over to the right side of Blowing Rock Rd and continue walking straight for another 0.2 miles. You will see a sign for the Daniel Boone Native Gardens on your left. Turn left onto Horn in the West Dr, and the gardens will be located on your left at 651 Horn in the W Dr, Boone, NC 28607.
Biking
If you have access to a bicycle, start from downtown Boone at the Watauga County Courthouse (842 W King St, Boone, NC 28607). Head southwest on W King St for about 0.2 miles and turn right onto N Water St. Continue on N Water St for about 0.5 miles until you reach Blowing Rock Rd (US-321). Turn left onto Blowing Rock Rd and bike for approximately 0.3 miles. The entrance to Daniel Boone Native Gardens will be on your right at 651 Horn in the W Dr, Boone, NC 28607.
Public Transportation
Check the local bus schedule for the AppalCart service. Board the bus that routes towards the Blowing Rock Rd area. Get off at the closest stop to the intersection of Blowing Rock Rd (US-321) and Horn in the West Dr. From there, walk about 0.1 miles down Horn in the West Dr, and you will find the Daniel Boone Native Gardens at 651 Horn in the W Dr, Boone, NC 28607.
