Start in downtown Boone, North Carolina. Head north on King Street, which turns into NC-105. Continue straight on NC-105 for about 1.5 miles. As you walk, you will pass several shops and restaurants. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating NC-105. Once you reach the intersection with the entrance to Foggy Mountain Gem Mine, look for the address 4416 NC-105 on your right. The mine is located just off the highway.
