Start at the center of Boone, at the intersection of King Street and Hardin Street. Head south on Hardin Street toward Blowing Rock Road (US-321). At the intersection, turn left onto Blowing Rock Road. Continue straight for approximately 2.5 miles until you reach the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Turn right onto the Parkway. Follow the Parkway for about 3.5 miles until you see the signs for Moses Cone Manor. The manor is located at 6570 Blue Ridge Parkway, Blowing Rock, NC 28605. The walk will take around 1 hour and 15 minutes, and you will enjoy beautiful views along the way.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Boone. Start at the intersection of King Street and Hardin Street and head south on Hardin Street. Turn left onto Blowing Rock Road (US-321) and cycle for about 2.5 miles. When you reach the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway, turn right.
