If you're driving from downtown Cape Fear, head east on E Main St toward N 3rd St. Continue on E Main St until you reach US-64 E. Merge onto US-64 E and follow signs for Raleigh. After approximately 75 miles, take exit 300 for US-1 N toward Raleigh. Continue on US-1 N, then take exit 2A for US-64 E toward Rocky Mount. Merge onto US-64 E and take exit 408 for Capital Blvd. Merge onto Capital Blvd (US-1) and continue for about 3 miles. Take a right onto E Edenton St and then a left onto N Person St. Turn right onto Mimosa St. The Mordecai House will be on your right at 1 Mimosa St, Raleigh, NC 27604. Parking is available on-site, and there is a $7 fee for the tour.

Once you arrive at the Raleigh bus station, transfer to the Route 10 bus toward North Hills. Get off at the stop at E Edenton St and N Person St. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk: head north on N Person St, then turn right onto Mimosa St. The Mordecai House will be on your right at 1 Mimosa St, Raleigh, NC 27604.
