If you are driving from Cape Fear, NC, get on US-401 N from Cape Fear. Continue on US-401 N for approximately 40 miles. Merge onto I-95 N, then take exit 56 for I-40 W toward Raleigh. After about 30 miles, take exit 295 for US-1 N toward Raleigh. Follow signs for US-1 N and continue for about 20 miles. Take exit 2C for S Saunders St. Turn left onto S Saunders St, then right onto E Edenton St. The North Carolina State Capitol will be on your left at 1 E Edenton St, Raleigh, NC 27601. Parking may be available nearby, but be aware that there could be fees.
