    If you are starting from the center of Chapel Hill, head east on Franklin Street. Continue on Franklin until you reach the intersection with Columbia Street. Turn left onto Columbia Street. As you walk, you will pass by several shops and restaurants. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the intersection with E Cameron Ave. Turn right onto E Cameron Ave and walk for a few minutes. The Old Well will be on your left, nestled within the beautiful grounds of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

    Public Transportation

    You can take the Chapel Hill Transit bus from various locations in the town. If you are near the UNC campus, look for the 'U' bus, which stops near the Old Well. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop at 'South Road at the Old Well'. After getting off, you will see the Old Well just a short walk from the bus stop.
