Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from downtown Charlotte, take S Tryon St southbound. Continue straight for about 1.5 miles until you reach E Tremont Ave. Turn right onto E Tremont Ave. The Rail Trail is located at 109 E Tremont Ave, Charlotte, NC 28203. There is street parking available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking restrictions.

  • Public Transportation - Light Rail

    Board the LYNX Blue Line light rail from any station in the Charlotte area. If you're starting from the 7th Street Station downtown, take the light rail southbound towards I-485/South Blvd. Get off at the Scaleybark Station. From the station, walk about 0.5 miles northeast on Scaleybark Rd, then turn left onto E Tremont Ave. The Rail Trail will be on your right at 109 E Tremont Ave. A one-way ticket costs $2.20.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    Take the CATS bus route 11 from downtown Charlotte. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop on Trade St and ride towards the SouthPark area. Exit the bus at the stop near E Tremont Ave. Walk east on E Tremont Ave for about 0.2 miles, and you will reach The Rail Trail at 109 E Tremont Ave. The bus fare is $2.20 for a one-way trip.
