    Light Rail

    If you're starting from the South End area, take the Charlotte Light Rail (CATS) Blue Line toward I-485/South Blvd. Ride for about 5 stops until you reach the 'Trade Street' station. Once you exit the train, head north on Trade Street for about 3 blocks until you reach Independence Square, which will be on your left.

    Walking

    If you're near the Charlotte Convention Center, start by heading north on S. College Street. Continue for about 0.3 miles, then turn left onto E. Trade Street. Walk for another 0.2 miles, and you will arrive at Independence Square, located at the intersection of E. Trade Street and S. Tryon Street.

    Bus

    To reach Independence Square via public bus, look for a CATS bus route that stops at the 'Trade & Tryon' bus stop. You can board any bus heading towards the central business district. After disembarking at 'Trade & Tryon', walk southwest for about 2 minutes to reach Independence Square.
