From any location in Crystal Coast, head towards Atlantic Beach. If you are coming from Morehead City, take Highway 70 East towards Atlantic Beach. When you reach the intersection with Highway 58 (near the Atlantic Beach Bridge), make a left turn onto Highway 58. Continue on Highway 58 until you reach the Food Lion parking lot, which will be on your left. The Hoop Pole Creek Nature Trail is located directly behind the Food Lion, making it easily accessible.

You will want to find a route that takes you to the stop near Highway 58 and the Food Lion.
