    From Crystal Coast, head northwest on NC-24 W towards Morehead City. After approximately 20 miles, merge onto US-70 W. Continue on US-70 W for about 30 miles until you reach the town of Newport. Take the exit onto US-258 N towards Kinston. Follow US-258 N for approximately 15 miles, then merge onto US-64 E. Follow US-64 E until you reach the junction with NC-12 S. Merge onto NC-12 S and continue for about 30 miles. You will pass through the town of Hatteras. After arriving in Buxton, turn left onto Lighthouse Rd, and the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse will be on your left at 46379 Lighthouse Rd, Buxton, NC 27920. Note that parking is available on-site, but there may be a fee of around $10 for parking.
