If you are driving from Foothills, start by heading southeast on Main St toward 2nd Ave NE. Continue on Main St until you reach the intersection with Hwy 321. Merge onto US-321 N via the ramp to Boone. Stay on US-321 N for about 10 miles. Take the exit toward Hickory and merge onto I-40 E. Continue on I-40 E for approximately 3 miles. Take exit 125 for US-321 N/Hickory. Continue on US-321 N for about 3 miles. Take exit 125B for 3rd Ave NE. Merge onto 3rd Ave NE and you will find the Hickory Museum of Art located at 243 3rd Ave NE on your right. There is free parking available nearby.
