If you're starting from the Hickory Metro Convention Center, walk to the nearest bus stop at 1960 13th Ave Dr SE, which is about a 5-minute walk. From there, take the Catawba Valley Transit Authority (CVTA) bus route 1 towards the Hickory City Hall. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes. As you approach the City Hall stop, look for the large brick building on your right. Get off at the City Hall stop, and you will be at the heart of Hickory, NC.

If you're renting a bicycle, start at the Hickory City Park located at 1451 8th St NW. Exit the park and head southeast on 8th St NW. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Main Ave NW. Turn left on Main Ave NW and ride south for about 1.5 miles.
