    If you're starting from the Hickory Metro Convention Center, walk to the nearest bus stop at 1960 13th Ave Dr SE, which is about a 5-minute walk. From there, take the Catawba Valley Transit Authority (CVTA) bus route 1 towards the Hickory City Hall. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes. As you approach the City Hall stop, look for the large brick building on your right. Get off at the City Hall stop, and you will be at the heart of Hickory, NC.

    If you're renting a bicycle, start at the Hickory City Park located at 1451 8th St NW. Exit the park and head southeast on 8th St NW. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Main Ave NW. Turn left on Main Ave NW and ride south for about 1.5 miles. You'll see the City Hall on your right side as you approach the downtown area. The ride should take around 15 minutes, depending on your speed.

    Starting from the Hickory Public Library at 128 E Main Ave, exit the library and head east on E Main Ave toward S Center St. Continue walking straight for about 0.4 miles. You'll pass several shops and cafes along the way. When you reach the intersection with S Center St, turn right and walk south for a couple of blocks. City Hall will be on your left side after about a 10-minute walk.
