If you are driving from any location in Foothills, make your way to US-21 N. From there, follow US-21 N for approximately 20 miles until you reach the junction with NC-18 N. Take the exit for NC-18 N towards Sparta. Continue on NC-18 N for about 14 miles until you reach the intersection with Frank Pkwy. Turn left onto Frank Pkwy and follow the signs for Stone Mountain State Park. The park entrance is located at 3042 Frank Pkwy, Roaring Gap, NC 28668. There is no entrance fee for the park, but ensure that your vehicle is in good condition for the winding mountain roads.
