Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Foothills. Take US-74 E toward Kings Mountain. Continue on US-74 for about 10 miles. Take the exit toward Kings Mountain/NC-161 N. Merge onto NC-161 N and continue for about 4 miles. Turn right onto S Battleground Ave/NC-161 N. After about 1.5 miles, turn left onto Park Office Lane. Follow Park Office Lane for about half a mile, and you will arrive at Crowders Mountain State Park at 522 Park Office Ln, Kings Mountain, NC 28086. Note that there is a parking fee of $7 per vehicle for entry into the park.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a Greyhound or local bus service from Foothills to Kings Mountain. The nearest bus station is in Shelby, NC. From there, you can catch a taxi or rideshare to Crowders Mountain State Park, which is approximately 15 miles away. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may vary. Additionally, you should expect to pay around $15 for the taxi or rideshare service from the bus station to the park.
