From downtown Hendersonville, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main Street. Catch the Route 2 bus towards East Nashville. Stay on the bus for about 45 minutes, and get off at the stop near Opry Mills Mall. From there, transfer to Route 5 towards Hermitage. The bus will take you directly to Hermitage, where you can disembark at the stop closest to Rachels Ln. Walk about 10 minutes along Rachels Ln to reach Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local rental shop in downtown Hendersonville. Head east on Main Street towards the intersection with Highway 258. Turn left onto Highway 258 and continue straight for about 7 miles. You'll reach the entrance to Hermitage. From there, follow the signs to Rachels Ln, which is a short ride away. The total distance is approximately 8 miles, so plan for about 30-45 minutes of cycling.
