Start at the Hendersonville City Hall located at 145 1st Avenue East. From there, take the 'Henderson County Public Transit' bus route towards Flat Rock. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Little River Road. This should take about 30 minutes. After you get off, walk approximately 0.5 miles down Little River Road. The Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site will be on your left at 1800 Little River Rd, Flat Rock, NC 28731.
