Getting There

• Car

  From the main entrance of Caesars Head State Park, head southwest on Caesars Head Road. Continue for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with US-276. Turn left onto US-276 and drive for approximately 5 miles. Look for signs directing you to Jump Off Rock, which is located at the intersection of Jump Off Rock Road and Laurel Park Highway. Turn onto Jump Off Rock Road and follow it until you arrive at the parking area for Jump Off Rock.

• Public Transportation

  Public transportation options are limited in this area. However, you can take a bus to the nearest town (Hendersonville, NC) and then use a rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach Jump Off Rock. From Hendersonville, enter the destination in your rideshare app to navigate to the address: 4501 Laurel Park Hwy, Laurel Park, NC 28739. It is approximately a 30-minute drive from Hendersonville to Jump Off Rock.

• Hiking

  If you're already in Caesars Head State Park and prefer hiking, you can take the Raven Cliff Falls Trail. This trail will lead you toward the general area of Jump Off Rock. However, please note that this is a long hike (approximately 5 miles one way) and may require navigating back after reaching the viewing area. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks for the hike, and check the trail conditions before setting out.
