If you're driving from anywhere in the Inner Banks area, take NC-12 South towards Nags Head. Continue on NC-12 for approximately 15 miles until you reach the intersection with W Carolista Drive. Turn left onto W Carolista Drive. Jockey's Ridge State Park will be on your right at 300 W Carolista Dr, Nags Head, NC 27959. There is free parking available on-site.

To reach Jockey's Ridge State Park via public transportation, you can take the Dare County Public Transit bus service. Board the bus at any designated bus stop in the Outer Banks area and make sure to check the current schedule for the bus heading towards Nags Head. Once you arrive in Nags Head, disembark at the nearest stop to the park. From the bus stop, it's about a 10-15 minute walk to the park entrance (300 W Carolista Dr, Nags Head, NC 27959). Note that the public transit service may have limited hours, so check their schedule in advance.
