If you're traveling by car, head towards Edenton, NC. From the Inner Banks region, take US-17 N. After approximately 30 minutes, exit onto NC-32 N towards Edenton. Continue on NC-32 N until you reach Edenton. Once in Edenton, follow signs for the waterfront area. The Roanoke River Lighthouse is located at 7 Dock St, Edenton, NC 27932. There is free street parking available near the lighthouse.
Public Transportation
If using public transportation, start by taking a bus from your location in the Inner Banks to Edenton. Once you arrive in Edenton, the nearest bus stop will likely be on Broad St. From there, you can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) to the lighthouse by heading east on Broad St, then turning left onto Dock St. Alternatively, you can use a local taxi service or rideshare app to cover the remaining distance to the lighthouse. Note that bus fares may vary, so check the local transit authority for specific costs.
Biking/Walking
