Getting There

• Walking

  From the heart of Glenwood South, head northeast on Glenwood Avenue. Continue walking for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with Peace Street. Turn left onto Peace Street and walk for another 0.2 miles. Once you reach the intersection with North Person Street, turn right. Continue on North Person Street for about 0.1 miles, and then turn left onto Mimosa Street. Mordecai Historic Park will be on your right at 1 Mimosa St, Raleigh, NC 27604.

  If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing services available in Glenwood South. Start by heading northeast on Glenwood Avenue and continue for about 0.3 miles. Turn left onto Peace Street and bike for about 0.2 miles. When you reach North Person Street, turn right and bike for another 0.1 miles. Finally, turn left onto Mimosa Street, and you will find Mordecai Historic Park on your right. Make sure to check the bike rental costs, which typically start around $5 for a short-term rental.

  For those who prefer public transportation, you can take the GoRaleigh bus. From Glenwood South, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Glenwood Avenue. From there, walk north on North Person Street for about 0.1 miles, then turn left onto Mimosa Street, where you will find Mordecai Historic Park.
