Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the North Hills area, walk to the nearest bus stop to catch the GoRaleigh bus. Look for the bus stop at North Hills Drive and Six Forks Road. From there, take the GoRaleigh route 4 towards downtown Raleigh. The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Get off at the 'Blount St at Martin Luther King Jr Blvd' stop. From this stop, walk north on Blount Street for about 0.3 miles. The L.L. Polk House will be on your left at 537 N Blount St.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From North Hills, head to the nearest GoRaleigh bus stop located at North Hills Drive and Six Forks Road. Board the GoRaleigh bus Route 4, which operates frequently throughout the day. Pay the fare of $1.25 using cash or a GoRaleigh card. Ride the bus for approximately 25 minutes and disembark at 'Blount St at Martin Luther King Jr Blvd.' After getting off, walk north on Blount Street for about 0.3 miles. The L.L. Polk House is located at 537 N Blount St, on your left.

  If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from a nearby bike-sharing service in North Hills. Head south on Six Forks Road towards downtown. Continue along the bike path until you reach the intersection with Blount Street. Turn left onto Blount Street and cycle north for about 0.4 miles. You'll find The L.L. Polk House at 537 N Blount St. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all local biking laws.
