Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Piedmont and head southeast on Main St toward 3rd St. Continue straight for about 2 miles until you reach I-85 S. Merge onto I-85 S and follow the signs to Raleigh, NC. After about 2 hours, take exit 295 for US-70 E toward Raleigh. Continue on US-70 E for about 5 miles, then take the exit for I-440 N. Merge onto I-440 N and take exit 10A toward US-1 N. Continue on US-1 N for about 3 miles and take exit 2B for New Bern Ave. Follow New Bern Ave for about 1 mile, then turn left onto Mimosa St. Mordecai House will be on your right at 1 Mimosa St.

At the Raleigh Transit Center, transfer to Bus Route 1 (New Bern Avenue) and ride for about 15 minutes. Get off at the stop for Mimosa St. Walk about 0.2 miles east on Mimosa St, and you will arrive at Mordecai House, located at 1 Mimosa St.
