    From any location in Sandhills, head southeast on NC-24 E/US-501 S. Continue on this road for approximately 70 miles until you reach New Bern. Once in New Bern, turn right onto S Front St. Continue on S Front St for about 1.5 miles, and you will see Tryon Palace on your left at 529 S Front St, New Bern, NC 28562. Parking is available nearby, with some areas being metered, so bring some coins or a credit card for payment.

    Public Transportation

    If you prefer to use public transportation, you can take a bus from Sandhills to New Bern. Check the local transit authority for routes and schedules. Once you arrive at the New Bern bus terminal, you can either walk (which takes about 15 minutes) or take a local taxi or rideshare service to Tryon Palace at 529 S Front St. If walking, head north on S Craven St towards E Front St, then turn left on E Front St and continue until you reach S Front St, where you will turn right to arrive at your destination.
