From your location within Uwharrie National Forest, head southeast towards NC-24 E. Continue on NC-24 E for approximately 30 miles until you reach the intersection with NC-242. Turn left onto NC-242 N and follow it for about 10 miles. Bladen Lakes State Forest will be on your left at 4470 NC-242, Elizabethtown, NC 28337. There is no entrance fee for accessing the forest.
